sup friends, it's been a minute since my last news post so i might write up a new one to keep anyone who cares up to stuff
so, it's been 2 months... wait what? 2 months passed ALREADY?? it's APRIL?? what the world? time sure flies huh.. i've hit another one of those points in life where every day passes by like a beat without anything truly special happening. previously i'd get very upset by such a thing, but i've gotten used to it. while time might fly real fast, i can't say the same about work.
i've noticed recently that i get tired really quickly. like, i come back home, make myself a nice warm meal, enjoy said meal and then go to sleep for like 3 hours. i can't help it either, i just get struck with a sudden burst of tired-ness for some reason. maybe it's got to do with my sleep schedule, which is probably the reason, but i can't say for sure. what i can say though is that it disrupts my work. i've been slacking reaaaal bad. it honestly feels like im in my "mid-development hell" of life.
as slow as work might be going, i do have 2 projects being slowly cooked little by little. one's an album and the other is a game. the album is essentially going to be the closure album to "SentryTurbo". it'll be a little bit of everything, with a mix of something else if you know what im sayin'. progress is REAL slow on it though so it WILL take a real long while to make. after said album, i will no longer post anything under the sentryturbo name. the few tracks i've made so far a few select people seemed to have liked, so i hope everyone else will like them too.
the second project i previously mentioned, the game, is going to be a simple boomer shooter akin to quake. i'm currently in the middle of making a slick level editor for it that i'll be using to craft every level in the game AND i'll be letting any old schmuck use as well. i'm planning to make the game very moddable, if you couldn't tell. just trying to make it decent enough for people to have some creative freedom while also having it be somewhat restricted, just so it isn't a whole game engine of it's own. i've managed to port half life 1, DOOM as well as counter strike maps into the level editor, so you'll be able to go real damn crazy with the level geometry. the sky's the limit!!!
that's about it, not much else to say. i'll see you guys later.
